Ruth Allchurch

Ruth Allchurch is Managing Director of WE-UK part of global agency, WE Communications. Ruth joined WE in 2019 and is responsible for building WE-UK’s brand and corporate reputation expertise, whilst building on the agency’s strong digital, technology and health offerings.

Before joining WE UK, Ruth most recently served as managing director of the consumer brand practice for Burson Cohn & Wolfe. Prior to this, she was managing director of FMCG and retail-focused PR agency Cirkle, where she led a 45-strong team with blue chip clients including Morrisons, Pernod Ricard UK, GSK, Pepsico and Premier Foods and during this time, she won PRCA “Agency Head of the Year” and PR Week Awards Best Agency Outside London.  Previously, she was head of brand PR for Diageo Western Europe for eight years, managing brands including Guinness, Smirnoff, Pimms, Tanqueray, Gordon’s and Captain Morgan’s across 13 markets.

A graduate from the University of Birmingham, Ruth is also chair of the PRCA Consumer Group, a fellow of the PRCA and a member of the Women in PR (WIPR) committee.
