Salman Sultan joined the Jaguar Land Rover MENA team in March 2012. His core area of focus is to manage the PR and Social Media programmes across the region.
Salman graduated from the American University of Sharjah in June 2006 and immediately joined General Motors in Dubai as Retail Marketing Manager for the GCC markets. A year later he followed his passion for marketing communications and was assigned the role of Assistant Marketing Manager for GMC and Chevrolet SUVs and Trucks. In September 2008, Salman moved to BP Castrol Middle East as Marketing Brand Manager for Heavy Duty Trucks and Motorsports. At Castrol, Salman was tasked with managing the FIFA 2010 World Cup marketing promotions and campaigns in Saudi and UAE.
In 2011, Salman moved back to his homeland of Saudi Arabia and joined Ditch Witch (DW) as Country Manager, where he was assigned to expand the business in the growing market space. Salman worked on developing a strong customer service programme for the Saudi DW customers as well as creating an after sales programme to ensure greater customer post sale experience.
Born and brought up in Saudi Arabia, Salman started his early career at Saudi TV as the host of a weekly children’s TV programme. Salman is fluent in English, Arabic and basic Italian. He is extremely passionate about motorsports, football, travelling and anything with an engine.
