Egami Group: Founder & CEO

Teneshia Jackson Warner is the founder and CEO of the Manhattan-based EGAMI Group. As the founder, Teneshia took a dream idea and grew it into a multi-million-dollar multicultural marketing and communications agency serving major clients including P&G, My Black is Beautiful, Verizon Wireless, Pfizer, Target, Hennessy, Major League Baseball, and more. Under her leadership, EGAMI Group made history working on the eye-opening P&G campaign, “The Talk,” the firm became the first black-woman-led company to win the Cannes Lion Grand Prix Award. The campaign also earned EGAMI a 2018 Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial.

Teneshia is also the founder and creator of The Dream Project, an empowerment platform designed to support professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives to realize their business goals and dreams. Through this platform, Teneshia has empowered more than 150,000 professionals to achieve their goals and has featured over 200 speakers, including global business leaders, professional athletes, world-changing activists, and Teneshia herself.

A graduate of Alabama A&M University, Teneshia has been acknowledged as one of Black Enterprise’s “Rising Stars” and “40 Under 40” and The Network Journal’s “Forty Under 40.” She’s also the recipient of AdColor’s MVP Award and has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Entrepreneur Magazine, Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise, and PR Week. She has also appeared on ABC News and The Steve Harvey Show.  

Teneshia is a frequent public speaker who joyfully inspires audiences to go after their dreams at major conferences like Blogher, Leading Women Defined, and TD Jakes’ Megafest. She lives in New Jersey with her husband/business partner, Michael Warner and their poodle, Tully.
